Day 1: Boulder to Grand lake—97miles and over 10,000 feet of climbing.
Day 3: Grand Lake to Twin Lakes—133miles with around 6000 feet of climbing.
Day 5: Twin Lakes to Crested Butte—100miles with about 6k of climbing.
Day 7: Crested Butte to somewhere between Lake City and Creede – 113miles with about 6k of climbing.
Last day from that campsite outside of Lake City to the top of Wolf Creek pass and back down to South Fork—87miles and 3500 feet of gain.Next article
