DAZN Gets On Board For First PTO Tour

DAZN get on board with new PTO Tour

London: The Professional Triathletes Organisation has signed a 2-year broadcast deal with DAZN Group, one of the leading global sports entertainment companies, to stream on DAZN the new PTO Tour, starting with the first PTO Canadian Open in Edmonton this weekend (23-24 July).

The deal is non-exclusive and includes:

  • Live and highlights in Canada, Japan, South Africa, APAC, Australia, New Zealand & MENA
  • Highlights shows in Europe (48 hours delayed)
  • Preview countdown documentaries globally (not including USA)
  • Delayed rights to the Herbalife24 PTO Pro Am (not including USA), archive documentaries including ‘Beyond Human’, the 2021 Collins Cup highlights and follow up documentary ‘Birth of the Collins Cup’

Each Open carries a minimum prize money of $1M and will be raced over 100km (2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run). In 2023 and 2024, the PTO Tour plans to expand with the PTO European Open and the PTO Asian Open, alongside their US and Canadian equivalents and the Collins Cup.
