Learn more about the PTO Tour
The PTO Tour is the ‘masters’ of triathlon – an annual series of premier, top-tier professional triathlon races with exceptional prize purses as well as outstanding age-group racing experiences.
For 2022, the PTO Tour comprises of the PTO Canadian Open (23-24 July), the Collins Cup (20-21 August) and the PTO US Open (17-18 September).
In 2023, the PTO Asian Open and PTO European open will be added to the series.
All professional PTO Tour races will be run over a total distance of 100km made up of a 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run.
The fields for the event will be made up of the top-40 athletes in the PTO World Rankings along with five wildcard spots for exceptional athletes who may not have accumulated enough rankings points but whose talents could impact the race.
The Collins Cup is a team event raced over 100km where European, US and International athletes compete in 12 one-vs-one-vs-one matches to decide the dominant region in the sport.
Team Europe currently hold the title having won the inaugural Collins Cup in 2021.
Professionals will compete for a prize purse of $1,000,000 at each PTO Tour Open event and $1,500,000 at The Collins Cup.
There will be age group racing at all PTO Tour events from 2022 onwards giving fans and committed age groupers the chance to race at the same venue on the same weekend as the sport’s biggest stars.
Events will feature both 100km and 25km races. Event entry is now open!
