The first PTO Pro Am event will see six of the world’s top professional athletes race an Olympic-distance course alongside Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) athletes and special guests including former UFC star Paul Felder and Olympic silver medallist Heather Fell.

CAF athletes will kick-start the day with a 1500m swim from Venice Beach. They’ll then tag in a highly-ranked PTO professional who’ll rip up the road over a 40km bike course finishing in downtown LA. From here, another CAF superstar, or one of our special guests, will complete a 10km run to close out this first-ever PTO Pro Am event.

This is the ultimate week of triathlon in 2022! 🔥

The Collins Cup and World Triathlon Multisport World Championships is the ultimate festival of pro racing, age-group events and family fun.

Running from 18 to 21 August and held at the x-bionic sphere near Bratislava in Slovakia, the centrepiece of the festival is the second edition of the game-changing Collins Cup. This race for triathlon glory will see Team Europe trying to defend their title against Team USA and Team International.

Sam Long’s rise in professional triathlon has been nothing short of meteoric.

From the relatively unknown and completely overlooked to becoming the 2021 Collins Cup Team US number one pick to face off against the sport’s GOAT: Jan Frodeno.

Starting out, despite training hard, Sam had very little to show for it on the race course and was not the warmest welcomed to the sport, being described by his peers as a clown who can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk.

Heather Jackson has starred at the top of the professional triathlon circuit for more than a decade. However, the emergence of new stars has her working harder than ever.

Mika Noodt is a new kid on the block and he has lofty ambitions. Making his debut in 2021, Noodt landed victory in his first race, finished 11th at the 70.3 World Championships and then finished the season with second at 70.3 Lanzarote. Will he build on that promise in 2022?

Laura Philipp defines what it takes to become a successful professional triathlete. Her hard work, her grit and determination and her ability to win (a lot!) has driven her to the very top, all whilst keeping a smile on her face.

Since the start of 2017 she has raced 21 times and won 16 of them and her most recent win at IM 70.3 Dubai propelled her to new heights atop the women's PTO World Rankings.
