  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when required.
  • Ensure athletes receive timely updates and a consistently positive experience.
Event Support
  • Build a strong understanding of our events, registration processes and athlete journeys.
  • Support participants with pre-event questions, changes and operational information.
  • Work closely with Event Operations to ensure athlete communications / guides are accurate and up to date.
  • Support customer service activity around event periods, when enquiry volumes may increase.
  • Where required, provide support at events and help deliver a positive athlete experience on the ground.
Customer Experience and Administration
  • Maintain accurate records of athlete queries and resolutions.
  • Identify recurring issues and flag opportunities to improve FAQs, processes and customer communications.
  • Support the maintenance of help-centre content, templates and standard responses.
  • Assist with registration administration and other customer-related tasks such as deferrals and transfers.
  • Help ensure information across customer-facing channels, including website pages, remains consistent and accurate.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Events and Product / Tech teams to resolve queries.
  • Share common athlete feedback and emerging issues with relevant teams.
  • Support improvements to the athlete journey and wider customer experience.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives designed to improve how we support our growing community.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 0-2 years’ experience in customer service, participant support, events, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple queries and priorities at the same time.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of problems through to resolution.
  • Calm and solutions-focused when dealing with difficult or time-sensitive queries.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • Collaborative and happy working across different teams.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in a fast-moving environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at events as required.
  • An interest in sport, events or customer experience would be advantageous.

Benefits
