About

As our Commercial Sales Intern, you’ll be a vital part of the commercial team, collaborating directly with our Commercial Strategy Manager and colleagues across sponsorship, strategy, and partner delivery. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to dive straight into sports commercial operations-helping craft pitch-ready presentations, uncover market insights, and bring live partner activations to life on event days!

  • Location: London
  • Duration: 3-6 months
  • Reporting to: You’ll report to our Commercial Strategy Manager and be based at our vibrant London HQ.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Deck Building & Asset Creation: Produce and iterate commercial pitch decks and category-specific one-pagers from structured briefs. Support the creation of generic sales assets and post-event wrap reports.
  • Prospect Research & Brand Briefs: Research and profile target brands across endemic and non-endemic categories. Compile structured briefs covering revenue, marketing priorities, and decision-maker mapping to feed the active sales pipeline.
  • Heads of Terms (HoT) Support: Creation of HoT documents for senior management review ahead of partner negotiation. Cross-reference documents against the rights matrix and flag gaps for senior review.
  • On-Site Activation Support: When required, assist in the delivery of partner activations at T100 events (e.g., expo branding, partner liaison, and reporting materials).
  • CRM & Admin Hygiene: Maintain partner records, file research outputs, and update contact databases to ensure foundational team operations.
  • Data & Audience Insights: Interrogate performance dashboards and audience data (e.g., GWI) to build insight outputs tailored to specific prospect categories.

  • We are looking for enthusiastic graduates who are passionate about the sports industry and eager to jumpstart their career in commercial or sales. If you have a degree in a relevant course, a keen interest in the business of sport, and are driven to learn and grow within a fast-paced team, we’d love to hear from you.

Skills You Will Develop

  • Commercial Fluency: Interpretation of commercial briefs and framing non-endemic brand value propositions.
  • Execution: Pitch deck production under time pressure and independent desk-based research methodology.
  • Operations: Rights asset literacy, HoT document structure, and pipeline administration.
  • Event Delivery: Experience in partner liaison in live race environments and post-event narrative writing.
  • Professional Skills: Stakeholder communication (internal/external) and presenting output to senior leadership.
