Handling the mental aspect of training when it’s not going to plan

All athletes, whether they be professional or amateur will know that when you are having an off day but still have training scheduled, that getting it done can seem like you are standing at the base of Everest… But do you take the same approach as Chelsea Sodaro and think it’s better to come back to that session when you are better equipped mentally to achieve what is meant from the session? Or do you take Sarah Piampiano’s approach where it doesn’t matter how bad you are feeling, it’s better to get it done no matter what? Both have their benefits but only you can decide what is best!
