Outside Interactive Extend Broadcast Partnership For T100 Triathlon World Tour

The Professional Triathletes Organisation announces Outside Interactive, Inc. will broadcast all of its new T100 Triathlon World Tour races

London, UK: The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced that Outside Interactive, Inc. will broadcast all of its new T100 Triathlon World Tour races live across the world on Outside Watch for the next two seasons – including tomorrow’s Miami T100 at CLASH Endurance Miami – with holdbacks only in Europe for 48 hours and LATAM. This is an extension to their partnership, which started in 2021 and has included the 2022 and 2023 PTO Tours.

As well as the eight live women’s and men’s T100 races, the agreement also includes showing all race preview shows and season long magazine content such as Evolution: Lucy Charles-Barclay’s Rise of a Champion, Beyond Human and a wide range of digital programming.

Outside Watch is a multi-broadcast platform that offers a wide range of outdoor adventure and sports-related content, including documentaries, series and films from Outside’s network of leading vertical brands, which includes www.Triathlete.com and other endurance outlets. The platform includes both free-to-watch live content and subscription-based video-on-demand programming across web, mobile & CTV apps, FAST streaming platforms and traditional linear broadcast platforms.

Last season, the PTO delivered on its goal to bring longer distance triathlon to a broader audience with a global live TV and streaming audience of 24.6 million for its three races in Ibiza, Milwaukee and Singapore, through multiple top-tier broadcast partnerships, including Outside Watch, that saw it broadcast in 195+ territories around the world.

“The 100km distance has delivered compelling racing for endurance sports fans over the last couple of seasons, and the expanded T100 Triathlon World Tour brings even more energy to a category that our audience is very passionate about,” said Jonathan Dorn, Chief Entertainment Officer at Outside Interactive. “Being able to watch a star-studded lineup of athletes race head-to-head in these iconic locations is great for the sport, as is the addition of age-group competition.”

“Outside Interactive is a leading player in the endurance broadcast market, so we’re very grateful to be continuing our journey with them and having their platforms show off the exploits of our amazing athletes,” said PTO Chief Content Officer Nick Shakinovsky.

The T100 Triathlon World Tour gets under way this Saturday, 9 March, with the opening race of the season, the Miami T100 at CLASH Endurance Miami. The women’s field has a stellar line up whilst the men’s race features 14 of the top 17 PTO World Ranked athletes, led by #2 Magnus Ditlev and a very strong contingent of Americans, including #3 Jason West, #9 Sam Long and #23 Ben Kanute, who will all be aiming for a win on home soil.
